The Ciampino airport is the airport that is located closest to the city, but also the one offering the worst connections. It is a small airport situated southeast of Rome.

-Individual Transfer by car –Minibus with private driver.

-Busses to Termini and Termini - Ciampino.

(Busses depart half an hour after arrival of the flights and in the morning the first one at 4.30 hrs.)

The bus company Terravision, in cooperation with the  “Low-Cost” airlines, offers a transfer from Ciampino airport to the city centre of Rome (Termini train station) and from Termini train station (Bus Stop in Via Marsala) to Ciampino airport. The fare is 8 Euro (Single) or 14 Euro (Return). Until June 2008 there is a Special Offer for online purchase and the fare is only 4 Euro/Single trip (8 Euro/ Return). We offer you the possibility to purchase your ticket without stress and risk directly online. The tickets in Rome can be bought at Fiumicino airport or in the city centre at the Hotels Royal Santina Hotel and Hotel Stromboli, both situated in Via Marsala or from a Terravision employee before boarding the bus.

If you want to use public transport, you have two options with the bus company COTRAL:

-Direct bus to Termini and back. Departure times airport: 10.30 - 13.00 - 15.00 - 17.00 -19.00 - 23.45. Departure times Termini (next to the train station in Via Giolitti): 04.45 - 04.50 - 11.30 - 13.45 - 16.00 - 18.00 - 20.00.

-Bus from the airport to the train station Ciampino or to the metro stop Anagnina. By metro you reach Termini station in 15 minutes, by train in 20 minutes. These are the times and itineraries for the busses regarding this option:
